Well, Friday night I saw Green Day. And it was PHENOMENAL.

So I finally saw Green Day, like I mentioned in a previous blog. And Jesus Christ, it was the greatest thing ever.

Okay, well it's no secret My Chemical Romance is my all-time favorite band, but I have to admit(and how much, I hate to admit,) Green Day puts on a hell of a lot better of a show than MCR did when I saw them. I mean, this show had freakin' fireworks. FIREWORKS. And not to mention, controversial pictures of Jesus Christ himself(Like, seriously. You had to have been there to know what I'm talking about. They are controversial, I'll just leave it at that.)

The show was probably three or four hours, but I couldn't really tell since the whole time I was dancing my ass off. And I wasn't even on the floor! I'm actually happy I wasn't on the floor, because if I was, considering how much my body is in pain now, I wouldn't be able to move XD I remember, I ran into Sam during "St. Jimmy" because I was going too crazy... I almost fell over the people in front of me's seats. Yeah, it was fucking awesome.

And, I mean, I hate to say it again, but it was phenomenal! That's the only word I can use to describe it. Well, I guess I can also say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

As Billie Joe always does, there would be parts in the song where he stops singing, and will tell the crowd, "I say heyyyy-oh!" and the crowd will chorus back to Billie with glee, "heyyyy-oh!" Also, one time, he hit like, the longest note ever. I think it was as long as Whitney's in "I Will Always Love You". I swear, it was like, "heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-ohhhhhhh!" Yup. And I sang back the entire thing without losing my breath :D

There were so many times where I felt like I was on the floor, or the only one in the arena, and whatever other cheesy metaphor that's appropriate.

And, guess what? THEY PLAYED EVERY SINGLE SONG I WANTED THEM TO PLAY<3 That made me really happy. When they were about to play "American Eulogy", Billie said, "Okay, one more tonight!" and they played it. I went insane, but was slightly upset they were "done". I mean, they hadn't even played "American Idiot" or "Minority" yet! You can't go to a Green Day concert, and not hear "American Idiot"! But, as soon as they left the stage, the lights stayed off, except for the flashy Green Day logo, which alternately flashed "Green" and "Day", causing the crowd to shout their name to drag them back up on stage, to play another ten songs. And, of course, "American Idiot" was the first they played when they got back up there, just like "Good Riddance(Time of Your Life)" was the last one they played.

And you know, even if it isn't my favorite song(but definitely top five, and besides, I don't even know my favorite Green Day songs;they're all great), no other song gets me more pumped than "Minority". The entire song, I was punching my fists in the air, and headbanging, and singing along. Well, that was every song, but I think "Minority" or "American Eulogy" or "St. Jimmy"... or you know, I'm not even going to bother;

I WENT INSANE EVERY SONG.

But, oh my god, that concert was freakin' sweet. Even better than MCR's show.(It still is hard to say that, but not impossible.)
