Another album review of one of
the new CD's I've bought recently. Today, The
Ettes, Look At Life Again Soon.

Okay, so one night I spent an hour googling "Great
underground bands", and so on one of the pages I
clicked on had a list of maybe, seven or ten bands?
Well, The Ettes was one of them, and
they're really the only band I put on my list that
I've actually bought and listened to. Look At
Life Again Soon is a great, garage rock album
with blue-sy punk tones. The vocals are sassy, and
full of sexy attitude, and the rhythmic drumming
patterns are hard to resist and just make you want
to bob your head and tap your feet.
The album consists of 11 great tracks that keep you
entertained the whole way through. My personal
favorites are "I Get Mine", "Marathon", "Crown Of
Age", and "You Can't Do That To Me".
It's hard to believe that more people don't listen
to The Ettes. They're a great band!
And this album is fantastic. The vocals are great,
full of attitude, the guitar has a wonderful, hard
cut, distorted sound that pulls you into the music,
and the drums bang around, and make you want to
dance. Oh, and did I mention the bass? Flippin'
excellent.
So, all things considered, I'm going to conclude
this review telling you that you should definitely
invest in this album. Some other stuff I listen to
may not be for everyone, and people may consider
"crap"(they have no taste in music anyway, those
asses), but this is an album for everyone. It's
wonderful, and I'm so glad I bought it.
