Okay, these guys are cool. I heard about them when I was reading about The White Stripes on allmusic(another great band), and under "Similar Artists", there lay The Kills. And they're totally right. This band has a huge resemblance to The White Stripes. Not to mention, this band also has the whole "one-girl-one-guy-minimalist" thing going for them. In fact, Alison Mosshart(aka, VV) has performed with Jack White, if I'm not wrong.

Anyway, I only have one album out of the three they've made. I bought Keep on Your Mean Side(2003) a few months ago, and I love it. I'm sure the other CD's sound the same, which is the garage-punk-with-a-hint-of-blues sound.

Allmusic says "Keep on Your Mean Side suggests that the Kills' true lineage comes from a darker, more poetic strain of rock." when comparing them to other current garage rock revivalists.

So, I'm sure the two other albums have just as much reckless blues-punk cleaned up a bit, like this great album. I highly recommend anyone listen to this. Well, unless you hate fun, bluesy-punk tunes that are so irresistible you have to love it.
