And it's funny because I'm not
joking! God, MTV hasn't actually shown music videos
in forever. Now it's all crappy, but today they're
playing Michael Jackson vids nonstop. I must say,
I'm not a fan of pop, but Michael Jackson isn't
even what you'd consider "pop" today. If pop was
like that today, I'd like it. I think Britney
Spears killed it, to be honest.
I've never actually ever cared too much about
Michael Jackson, but I mean... wow. It's hard to
believe he's dead. I'm not terribly sad or
anything, but it is hard to believe. But, I guess I
have to since I saw four men carrying his body from
aerial view and the news is like...
everywhere.
And you know, I heard that in MJ's will, he gave
back the rights to all The Beatles songs to Paul
McCartney. Thank God. I can finally buy Beatles on
iTunes. Not sure if it's true, but if it is, MJ has
redeemed himself to me. I'm cool with him now.
I also found out more about this whole "childhood"
and "pedophile" thing. My opinion is that ever
since he was 5, he's been performing and grew up in
the limelight... so that can drive you crazy.
*cough*britney spears*cough*. plus, the dude
never got to go through those "maturing" stages as
a kid... so he tried to recreate his childhood? I
dunno', that's still creepy.
But, the whole point of this blog is that Michael
Jackson is dead, but I do think that his memory
will live on. Long live the King of Pop!
